Why the need for this training?
In society today we are all running against the clock. Time becomes our most valuable asset and should be managed accordingly. We should be working smarter and not harder, and should always guard against un-balanced lifestyles. By introducing effective time management, prioritisation and goal setting as part of your daily lifestyle it is possible to live an enjoyable, fulfilling and self-motivated existence.
Who should attend?
Any person who wishes to increase their ability to effectively manage their time. People who is required to effectively manage the time of other individuals, or groups of people.
Course Outline
- Introduction and Course Overview - Acquaint yourself with fellow participants and gain an understanding of what will take place during the workshop. Identify personal learning objectives. Receive a training manual that will also function as the note book throughout the day.
- Why is time management important?
- Addressing the advantages of time management.
- Each individual identifies his/ her need to manage time.
- Goal setting - This section addresses how to set realistic and achievable goals. Each delegate will have a chance to identify individual goals.
- Prioritisation - This section of the workshop provides the delegates with prioritisation skills and tools. Each delegate will prioritise their own goals.
- Planning - The importance of planning and the tools required to properly and effectively plan time.
- Organise - Organisation tools to assist in the effective management of time

- Know when to say no
- Know when to be flexible
- How to deal with procrastination
- How to deal with distractions
- Wrap up - Each student will receive a certificate for completion for the workshop.
