Why the need for this training?
Time should be spent on areas of importance. This workshop provides the delegates with tools on how to increase their efficiency and organise all aspects of life so that they can enjoy a more balanced and fulfilling existence.
Who should attend?
Any person who wants to improve the quality and quantity of life. This workshop addresses the need for organising abilities and will assist each delegate in setting up a practical and individualised organisation plan.
Course Outline
- Introduction and Course Overview - Acquaint yourself with fellow participants and gain an understanding of what will take place during the workshop. Identify personal learning objectives. Receive a training manual that will also function as the note book throughout the day.
- Why are organising skills important? - Understanding what can be gained by organising yourself.
- How to motivate yourself to get organised
- How to prioritise - This section of the workshop will assist participants in identifying all aspects of importance in their life and provide them with the means of setting priorities. The section also provides the delegate with decision making tools.
- Organisation principles - Identifying the different types of organisation personalities one finds (Visual, non-visual)
- Organisation Tools:
- Identifying “clutter” (physical, emotional and psychological)
- How to organise a physical environment (room, garage, papers, clutter etc)
- How to deal with emotional clutter
- Time management tools (Organise and prioritise your day and time to get the most out of life)
- Wrap up - At the end of the day, students will do an individual communication improvement plan. Each student will receive a certificate for completion for the workshop.
